Cardio Workout?

What is a good cardio workout that I can do that will get my heart pumping, make me sweat, and breathing hard? I usually run; however, I am in need of new shoes and haven’t had the chance to get new ones. My old ones are worn out and have cause my hip to hurt when I run so I am am not running. But what is something else I can do. I’ve tried bike riding but it doesn’t give me the workout running does. I would swim but I don’t have acess to a pool.

    Kick boxing–you not only burn many more calories(then running) per min. But, I am always panting after just a few min. of kicking.

    1. like those things where you put your hands behind your head and move your legs like your riding a bike
    2. wall jumps when you put your hands up against the wall and jump as high as you can
    3. jumping rope

    I agree with "roo" kick boxing is a great one if not just going at a punching bag, i use a 100lbs heavy bag 3x a week and its intense. I’m also a runner (8-10 miles per day avg) and i was really surprised how much of a workout just going at a punching bag was. Good Luck!
